Changes to FHLB Cincinnati Hundred Homes Initiative

March 16, 2026

FHLB Cincinnati has updated the Hundred Homes Initiative, a program designed to help households living in deteriorating mobile homes transition into safe, modern housing. The initiative provides $50,000 in grant assistance per household that can be used for down payment and closing costs, principal reduction, land acquisition when needed, disposal or recycling of the vacated mobile home, and any legal work or fees required to decommission the old home and clear the title.

Updates:

  • FHLB Cincinnati no longer requires that mobile homes be constructed before June 15, 1976; the program will now accept mobile and manufactured homes built at any time, provided the unit is currently taxed as personal property.
  • Current funding is $1 million and is first-come, first-served until all funds have been requested.
  • The program will officially close on June 30, 2026.

All Reservation Requests received on or before June 30 will be processed. All Funding Requests must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. (ET) on December 15, 2026. Complete program information is available on our website at www.fhlbcin.com. If you have immediate questions about the program, please call our Housing & Community Investment Department at 888-345-2246, email hhi@fhlbcin.com or contact your relationship manager.
