Meet Bridget Ellery and Connor Creaghead

December 11, 2024

Meet two members of our Housing and Community Investment team who help support our mission of providing affordable housing in the Fifth District.

Bridget Ellery

Bridget joined FHLB Cincinnati in June 2024 as the Compliance & Outreach Assistant Manager. In her role, she ensures approved projects within the Bank’s housing programs align with our policies and Federal Housing Finance Agency regulations. She also leads outreach activities, participating in affordable housing conferences, meetings and panels.

“My work in the Housing and Community Investment department is humbling because I know I’m contributing to making affordable housing a reality for those in need. It’s a privilege to be a part of this work,” said Bridget.

Bridget attended the University of Cincinnati where she studied Business Management. Before her current role, she worked as a Regional Operations Manager at US Bank for 11 years, gaining extensive experience in operations and leadership.

Bridget resides in Fairfield, Ohio with her husband, Dannie Ellery, whom she has been married to for 19 years. Together, they have three young adult children: Robert, Kyla and Austin. When she’s not ensuring housing projects succeed, Bridget enjoys reading books and spending time with her family.

Connor Creaghead

Connor joined FHLB Cincinnati in June 2019 and currently serves as a Housing Financial Analyst on the Housing Compliance and Outreach team. On the outreach side, he represents FHLB Cincinnati at conferences, engages with members and sponsors about the Bank’s housing products, and speaks to organizations about the Bank's mission to fund affordable housing initiatives. He also attends groundbreakings and ribbon-cutting ceremonies for funded projects, witnessing firsthand the impact of the Bank's investments.

On the compliance side, Connor ensures funded projects adhere to the Bank's monitoring procedures. From application and development to the 15-year retention period, he provides valuable feedback through reporting, certifications and audits.

“One of the most fulfilling aspects of my job is seeing how our funding transforms lives. Whether it’s meeting homeowners or renters in projects we’ve supported, it’s humbling and energizing to see the tangible difference we’re making,” Connor shared.

Connor earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Kentucky. Before joining the Bank, he worked at Welcome House, a non-profit serving the homeless population in Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati and rural areas of Kentucky. His experience there sparked a deep understanding of the issues facing affordable housing and a passion for funding solutions to address this critical need.

Outside of work, Connor enjoys hiking, camping, playing basketball and board games. He lives in Covington, Ky. with his dog, Sneakers.
