Third Quarter 2023 Dividend Declared at 9.00 Percent

At its December 21, 2023 meeting, the Board of Directors of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati (the FHLB) declared a dividend for the third quarter of 2023 at a 9.00 percent annualized rate. This dividend rate is 3.75 percentage points over average overnight interest rates for the third quarter of 2023 and 3.68 percentage points over fourth quarter 2023 average overnight interest rates through December 20. Average overnight interest rates consist of the Secured Overnight Financing Rate and Federal funds effective rate.

The dividend payment will occur today, December 21, 2023, in the form of cash and is based on the average stock balance from the third quarter of 2023 which includes a day count basis of 92/365 days. See our dividend history on our Financial Results page.
