Meet Jasmine Grant and Kristina Jordan
Meet two members of our Housing and Community Investment team who help support our mission of providing affordable housing in the Fifth District.
Jasmine Grant
A born and raised Cincinnatian, Jasmine Grant graduated from Walnut Hills High School before pursuing a Bachelor of Science in urban planning from Wright State University. She has been with FHLB Cincinnati since March 2012, with her current role being Housing Financial Analyst I. Jasmine helps administer all of the Housing and Community Investment grant and discount advance programs including the Affordable Housing Program, Carol M. Peterson Housing Fund, Economic Development Program and many more.
Prior to joining the Bank, she worked for a local housing developer and partnered with the city, state and federal government on the relocation of over 250 people from a deteriorating downtown Cincinnati property. She also worked for the US Department of Housing and Urban Affairs (HUD) and the Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) as an auditor for Project Based Section 8 rental properties located in Hamilton, Brown and Clermont counties.
Another hobby, one that may be equal to her love of providing affordable housing, came to mind when asked what she enjoys doing in her free time.
“Does snacking count as a hobby? When I am not working, I enjoy dining out, reading, movies, sports, travel and attending live concerts and plays. All of which can be done with snacks,” said Jasmine.
Kristina Jordan
Kristina Jordan started her professional career at FHLB Cincinnati, first working at the Bank through Cincinnati State Technical and Community College’s cooperative education program in 2011. She went on to serve as an intern before joining the Housing and Community Investment Department full-time in 2013. Kristina now serves the Fifth District as Housing Financial Analyst I.
As a Housing Financial Analyst, Kristina reviews requests for all of FHLB Cincinnati’s housing programs, with a focus on voluntary programs. She currently leads our Disaster Reconstruction Program. She is passionate about her work and believes it resonates with her as a homeowner.
“Being a homeowner helps me understand the process of purchasing a home and the cost of maintenance or repairing a home after disaster strikes. I believe everyone deserves a comfortable place to call home,” said Kristina.
She lives in Ross, Ohio with her husband and 13-year-old niece. In her free time, Kristina enjoys gardening, crafting and working with animals. For an example of the latter, look no further than her mini-farm, which houses horses, fainting goats, a miniature donkey, barn cats and more.
