FHLB System Review at 100 Written Comment Deadline Extended to Oct. 31

The FHFA’s Listening Session: FHLBank System at 100: Focusing on the Future initiative has extended the deadline for written comments from Friday, Oct. 21 to Monday, Oct. 31. Comment letters may be submitted on the FHFA’s website or by mail to:

Additional information about roundtables has also been shared by the FHFA. The inaugural roundtable discussion will be held in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 2 and will cover the mission and purpose of the FHLBank System with an additional roundtable discussion in Chicago later in November, focused on FHLBank support for community development and affordable housing activities.

Future roundtable topics will include:

  • Housing and community development in Native American communities
  • Housing and community development in the Mississippi Delta and other rural communities
  • Membership eligibility and requirements, collateral, and safety and soundness

Roundtables are closed to the public. Recordings and/or transcripts will be published on FHFA’s website following each roundtable discussion. Please check the FHLBank System at 100 webpage for updates.
