FHLB Cincinnati offers several voluntary programs to meet the unique affordable housing needs of Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee.

Voluntary Programs

Carol M. Peterson Housing Fund Carol M. Peterson Housing Fund

Through the Carol M. Peterson Housing Fund (CMPHF), the FHLB provides grants from $5,000 to $20,000 per homeowner to fund accessibility and emergency repairs for low-income special needs and elderly homeowners.

Disaster Reconstruction Program Disaster Reconstruction Program

Households affected by natural disasters may qualify for help with purchasing, constructing, or repairing their primary residence through the Disaster Reconstruction Program (DRP). Grants of up to $20,000 are available to homeowners in declared disaster areas, and renters can qualify for $10,000 toward the purchase of a home.

Zero Interest Fund Zero Interest Fund

The Zero Interest Fund (ZIF) provides zero interest loans in order to promote housing and economic development. ZIF loans, which are awarded up to $100,000, help fund the upfront infrastructure costs for housing, commercial and industrial real estate-related projects.

Rise Up Program Rise Up Program

The Rise Up pilot program offers grants of $25,000 for down payment, closing cost, and principal reduction assistance for first-generation homebuyers that meet income requirements who are looking to purchase their first home in Franklin County, Ohio.
