The Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati (FHLBank) is a privately owned and operated regional cooperative bank with a public mission to facilitate and expand the availability of housing finance. Created by the U.S. Congress in 1932, the FHLBank fulfills its housing finance mission by providing low cost funding to member financial institutions that make mortgage loans and extend other credit services to their customers.

These same financial institutions in Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee are the FHLBank’s member stockholders, to which the FHLBank has a responsibility to operate efficiently and profitably. The FHLBank is regulated by an independent agency, the Federal Housing Finance Board. The FHLBank became effectively registered with the SEC on February 3, 2006. As a result, the FHLBank files annual, quarterly and periodic financial reports with the SEC. The Investor Relations section of our Web site is your guide to these financial reports, as well as our governance and leadership.
